Joe and Katie meet Frank at the verge. Frank fills them in on who the Dream Police really are ... and his plan.

I really enjoyed this issue. The twist regarding who the Dream Police are is logical. It seems scary, especially with the extreme way it's handled and the ramifications it has on those individuals in the waking world. However, as one character points out, it could be a good thing for the individuals rather than a bad thing, and I can't help but wonder which side Joe will fall on.

Frank's journey to find a way back to the dreamscape, as well as the waking-dream state that gave him his foot in the door, as it were, is fascinating. From the viewpoint of the waking world, it seems extreme. Parts seem unhealthy, but even a doctor points out that not getting to REM sleep (and dreaming) is unhealthy, so it's a lose-lose.

Whereas the previous issue was all action, this one is all plot-movement. I like and appreciate how it ties together pieces from earlier -- all the times Joe thought he was seeing / hearing Frank. Things are set to take an interesting turn for the final three issues, and I'm excited to see where it goes.
