It's clear from the language of the men that this is some desolate town in the South and bad things have been happening to them and the town. The men blame the "bitches" for their situation. The Captain and his son, Skip, get the most focus here, as we learn about the prisoners down below and more about the situation outside. The "bitches" do arrive and things become a bit clearer.
The art leaves a little something to be desire, although it appears to have been intentional. The police all pretty much look the same -- the same color, the same the expression, ugly lines and shapes. The prisoners are a little better drawn or at least you can tell them apart, but only one gets a speaking role. When the women that the cops have all been fearing arrive, they are the best drawn and most interesting of the characters.
I can sort of guess what's happening here, although I'm not terribly interested in it. Maybe if the women appeared in beginning instead of at the end, that might have captured my interest more. There are some other intriguing things, however, like the little girl who is rescued by the cops, but seems to be as deadly as the women.
The only thing I particularly liked was how on particular page of the comic was framed and lettered, had there been more of that kind of panel arrangement, it would have elevated this comic a bit more.
Still, not compelling enough for me to see what happens next.
