Grade: 9

Lupe finds that dealing with villains doesn't always happen at night -- or in costume. Teen life -- and adoration -- moves on in the face of pending doom. But even if the rest of the school has lost faith, it seems one person will never give up on Q.

I like the adversarial tone of the cover, well-represented by both the expressions and the colours. I like that the characters are in plainclothes, with their emblems above them to show how even off-duty, they are who they are. The sitch with Lupe's crush, Devin, has taken an interesting turn -- two turns, actually, one that made me a bit sad, and one that's made me happier than I was in the first place! And the end of the issue makes me eager for the next one!

My only complaint is that I expected more of a complication with her siblings tagging along last issue, but the start of this one time-jumps, making that point in the last issue just kind of fizzle. I hope it's brought up again later!
