Q & Ray are a couple of student-sluths at Elm Tree Elementary. Q and Ray are excited about an upcoming field trip to Elm Tree Science Center, where Ray is especially eager to see a real meteorite, when they get there, though the meteorite is stolen. Q & Ray put their skills to work to solve the case.

Another solid entry in this series. Q and Ray are appealing characters, each with their own special skills that complement each other well. The case here, though, is a little more obvious. We do find out the possible criminal early on, but it's up to Q and Ray to prove it. It's a nice way to show that even though you have a little evidence, it sometimes isn't enough to make a solid case. That's a pretty complex problem that is shown rather well. The only flaw I saw in the story was that they spend almost half the issue before getting around to the theft. While it's nice that we get to spend some time with Q and Ray, showing off their particular quirks, I wish they had gotten to the crime a bit sooner.

Nevertheless, colorful character, colorful art and a solid story.
