The heroes fight the frost giants. During the battle, the dragons are freed from the giants' control and turn on them, and Boo drinks a potion that makes him giant-sized, allowing the hamster to fight back too.

This is a really exciting final issue to a mediocre story arc. This issue is completely action-packed, has great humor, and provides a sense of closure. As exciting as the action is, it's the humor that really carries this issue, and most of that is thanks to Minsc. Yes, the "dumb jock" character's lines are finally packaged in a way that makes them funny, partially due to the situation (including that he spends more time chasing the vial he dropped than fighting) and partially due to word choices and phrases. The silliness is a nice contrast to the deadly action. Then there's Boo, providing the visual humor with a hamster large enough to take on a frost giant! I was half expecting Minsc to ride Boo into battle, but it worked much better to have Boo act on his own (including choosing to drink the potion to make him grow).

I was glad to see the dragons freed to take their own revenge on the frost giants. It makes for a fitting end, and a more believable win (as opposed to the heroes defeating that many frost giants on their own). I was also glad to see the main dragon treated fairly by the heroes, freeing her and her kind completely from any control over them and an agreed truce between white dragons and humans.

It's nice that it ends on a note of celebration ... and a one-page intro to the next arc that does a good job of tying a previous arc in through a character and piquing my interest as to where this goes from here.
