Credits Grade: 9 Super Potato #2 Super Potato's Galactic Breakout is just as good at Super Potato #1! Like the first issue, this one is just as pleasing to the eye with vibrant colors, hilarious characters, and fun unexpected plot twists. It makes me want to see what Artur Laperla's school notebooks look like.Super Potato is out training, lifting weights, pushups, and flying around. Apparently he is not a very established super hero as he actually has time to fly around for fun, so being infamous definitely has some perks (I highly suspect he IS that famous, he just may have other superheroes doing his work for him). He encounters Zort the Third who is an alien who drives around space looking for other aliens to collect from different planets. Zort realizes he does not have something from planet Earth yet, and that's where the story begins. Super Potato shows talent in creative problem solving and accepts that he cannot get out of his situation alone. He enlists the other captured aliens and Zort's own robot to plot the escape of all the captured creatures. This teaches teamwork and creative thinking, both great skills for Super Potato and everyone else to have, and all of this put together makes for a great one-off story. On another note, Lerner Books publishes these graphic novels with hardcover and softcover options. From a library standpoint, these books are built to last.
