Kaguya gets a little help from the mysterious Sheena Moru Banvivirie (aka Bambi). While staying in Sheena's castle, Kaguya learns a little history and more about who she is and why she's there. It seems Kaguya is a princess who will choose one of the nine parallel worlds to save while the others are destroyed. Because of this, she's in high demand, but how will she ever escape?

I love the complexity of this story and how it keeps building on itself, slowly explaining why everyone's so desperate to get Kaguya. And, I love Sheena (and not just because she has my name), but because she is an amazingly deep character, and the more we learn about her, the more mysterious she seems. Gold (or is it Kagami?) gives us a little more of his human self in this installment.

The art is beautiful, and I'm really glad the cover is in color because that emphasizes the importance placed on the fact that Kaguya has dark hair and blue eyes — sometimes you forget that when reading it in black and white. This is one story no one should miss out on; I can't wait for book three!
