Blake tries to help a werewolf, and the werewolf reveals her identity and their home! Meanwhile, Lily has fetched family (hunter) reinforcements.

I'm glad to see Blake deciding to help a werewolf; her bit of empathy speaks well of her as a person (of course, it helps that the scare / danger part is past). The werewolf's identity should come as no big surprise, and yet I appreciate that there were no clues before the reveal. I love Blake's reaction to all of this -- wondering if other things like vampires, manticores, and unicorns are real.

The family aspect to the werewolves is wonderfully positive. We gain a lot of perspective about the werewolves. There's one more scare for Blake as the lead protectors return to their base, but the werewolf Blake helped vouches for her. It's a well-done scene that shows their true worry. This section also sets the scene for a shift in the horror, as the hunters arrive.

This issue is mostly a transition issue, but it's still interesting and engaging.
