Fade From Blue is one of those comics that I'm told is a "must read" it's so good. And I must admit, after reading just one issue, I have to agree that it's definitely worth checking out. One issue was not enough to hook me, but it may be enough to get me to read more. I just can't make up my mind if I love it or if it's good but not my fav. Issue three gives a lot of insight into how these four sisters came to live together as well as the troubles they're dealing with now which set things up for me as a first-time reader quite nicely.

The characters are unique — different from any others I've come across before — with spunk and personality all their own. The art is quite good, but occasionally seems a bit to cartoony for the seriousness I picked up from reading it. And I did get a little fed up with Elisa's childishness. However, there's really not a lot to complain about. It's simply a good read.
