Anti-Ranga sentiment is on the rise. The US Army has joined forces with Japan's National Defense Force to bring down this god/devil. The whole island of Kyushu is being held responsible for anything Ranga does, and when another ancient god rises to fight Ranga, things only get worse. The Shimabara sisters may lose everything if they cannot fully become Ranga's kings. They must show everyone that Ranga is a god! And that as a god, it knows what is right, even when humans don't.

One thing I love about Neo Ranga is the length of the episodes. Each one is 15 minutes long. That sounds short, but it never seems that way when I'm watching it. The story is so fascinating and action-packed, I never even realize how little time it takes to tell it. That and ADV fits 8 of these episodes on one DVD! (so it still adds up to 120 minutes!) There are also fun extras including an insert Musashino Ginza Map.

Neo Ranga has quickly and easily become one of my favorite anime series. The art and story are superb — making something quite sci-fi seem very realistic. To add to the realism, nothing is left out — politics, armies, and average people. Serious issues are blended with humorous situations making a story that will grab any viewer. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind anime!
