Credits Grade: 10 Breathtaking! This fifth DVD of Go Nagai's The Devil Lady is not to be missed! The story really picks up here, pulls you in, and leaves you with a perfectly placed cliff-hanger. Humans are responding to the now ever-present threat of beasts with violence, and the beasts are gathering. Jun is Mankind's last hope against the beasts but she is being hunted by man and beast alike. But there are many strange things going on behind the scenes, and Asuka may be quite more than anyone ever dreamed.I am in awe of Go Nagai. Not only that, I am quite satisfied to watch either the sub or dub as both are excellent! If you thought you knew everything that was going on in this series, think again. Go Nagai twists up this world a little more as he builds to the climax. The action is explosive, the art is wonderful, and the story is one of the best horror stories I've seen in a while. Even if you don't normally like horror, check this series out — it is too good to miss. Written: August 8, 2003
