Yorn is a God Hunter ... so why is he being hunted? Both Yanueas and Yalgaha want him dead or captured to use his power to make a weapon that will put nuclear weapons to shame and destroy the one who did not get him. In this DVD the rest of the story about Hairra and Witto's past is told (and more than ever I see a similarity to Miyu and Larva from Vampire Princess Miyu). Yorn and his companions escape are fighting off their hunters as well as empty stomachs and hate-filled puppet/dolls; no matter where they go or what they do, trouble is hot on their heels (and usually having trouble of its own). Will they reach the Princess of Foresight before the enemies?

This series is too much fun! There's trouble brewing and many things are happening behind the scenes, while (rather incapable) assassins are having a rough time capturing one little boy. The story is not so much a blend as it jumps back and forth from silly comedy to serious drama. The battles have the best blend with tricks and running away as well as powerful attacks from Yorn (using his power) and Hairra's killing claws. There's enough mystery about what exactly the powers that be want to keep it interesting while the rest of the story is predictable but enjoyable nevertheless.

One of the things I really like about this series is the interesting and new way of presenting god. In some ways it resembles "primitive" culture's religions as well as Christianity (as it plays with the concept of Eden). This anime reflects how many people see god and how they think god should be, but it is its own story with the god hunter character. There's also some really good humor — mostly thanks to the assassins from Yanueas (they remind me of Jessi and James from Pokemon), and their underwater mech that is truly one-of-a-kind. This silly series is entertaining for all ages.
