Credits Grade: 2 A few months ago, I reviewed the swimsuit edition of Warrior Nun Areala. Insert all those comments here, except for the positive ones.I like erotic art. I like sexy, well-drawn half-nude babes (or guys, of course). Too bad there aren't any here. Instead, we have crappily-drawn, badly proportioned naked babes. I feel bad about being so harsh, but for Pete's sake, the whole point in a swimsuit issue is the art; the only actual story in this whole issue is a cheesy 5-pager in which one of the male characters is hit with a "groping curse" that causes him to go around grabbing the basketball-sized breasts of the female characters, and predictably getting punched out at every turn. So the least they could do is give us some good art. Instead, it looks more like bad fanart. There are two or three good drawings in the whole book, out of 48 pages. For $4.50. Spare your pocketbook and your eyes, and stay far, far away from this waste of dead trees. Written: January 17, 2004
