Credits Creators: Layla Lawlor Grade: 9 Through the eyes of a little dog named Taco, we get a bit of back-history on Taz and Fleetwood.
Lawlor did this as a part of Tartsville's 24-hour mini-comic challenge fundraiser for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, in which participants were given three items they had to include in the story: a "manly chihuahua, a Tibetan prayer wheel, and a strip joint." And I must say Layla did a bang-up job! In just 24 hours, she's put together a really solid chunk of art and truly engaging bit of storytelling — a work far better than many others manage in a month's time!
So I say pick up this book! (Well, when she gets it put together — for now you can read it on her site!)
