Woah.

OK I didn't see that coming. I mean sure, this is a Mob-style story but geez — Rachel?! I'm enjoying this story. It truly is a Caper, in all senses. In this issue things are still just warming up, one would think, but so much has happened — in just two issues.

Meanwhile, Dalrymple's art continues to perplex me. He has a great sense of layout, and some of his fight panels are lovely. But I still have trouble distinguishing characters. There's something in the art itself and/or the coloring that somehow makes it harder than it should be to figure out who is who.

Fortunately, in this particular issue there were very few scenes where that even had the potential to be a problem and as a consequence I read this much more easily. And enjoyed it quite a bit.
