ISBN: 1-59741-026-8 Grade: 3 The former Angel Troupe has disbanded and is working for peace with neighbors in a new galaxy. The new troupe are trying to save Milfeulle who's trapped in the gate. The newest member to the troupe is Kazyua, a guy and a pastry chef - but Milfeulle picked him (at random) so they all have faith in him ... well, except him, he has no faith in what's going on as he meets his new job and destiny.
I feel a bit like Kazuya while reading this manga: lost and confused and a little overwhelmed, but also unimpressed. It seems to have no direction or plot or meaning. It is just the first volume, but nothing's happened other than the reader (and Kazuya) getting to see how crazy these girls are as we learn a bit about them. And this second story arc isn't as cute or funny as the first (not that I was very impressed by the first either...). There are some cute girls, but the overall look is just generic cuteness - nothing special or lasting and the angry/sad faces done in crazy chibi style get annoying after a while. There are much better space dramas out there - go read one of those.
