ISBN: 1-4215-1568-7 Grade: 5 Hikari Hanazono and Kei Takishima have been rivals since childhood. They both belong to the Special A group at their high school, the top seven students in their A Class. Elites among elites. Hikari has discovered, to her shock, that Kei loves her. She doesn't know what to make of it and can't respond to him the same way.
The seven members of the Special A group get into a competition to see where they will be spending their vacation, and it turns out to be Hawaii. While there, there is hijinks afoot as Hikari attempts to deal with her own feelings while attempting to deal with Kei.
I had a very difficult time understanding what was going on and that seriously affected my enjoyment of this manga. The dialogue and action in many panels was hard for me to read and harder for me grasp what was happening. I don't mind complicated emotions and actions, but I prize clarity in how they are presented. This manga seems more scattershot than clear and linear.
