It's nice to try to teach your children a second language and My Big Book of Spanish Words is an ideal place to start. This oversized, hard page volume, introduces little ones to dozens of Spanish words from animals, to shapes, to methods of transportation, to colors to numbers, to clothes and many other things. The only thing missing in this volume was the alphabet, so people could understand about rolling the "r's" and the sounds of the vowels. My Big Book of Spanish Words is a nice way to introduce little ones to different words for things each is already familiar with in and around each's world. Her simple art is engaging and should catch the eye of readers of all ages. Rebecca Emberley has several other bilingual books in print. If they are just as skillfully crafted as this one, then you should seek them out and add all to your child's collection.
