Najica is a perfume maker by day, and a secret agent on call. Together with her new partner Lila, a Humaritt (sophisticated android), they are assigned to go after other Humaritts. One Humaritt gets activated with a Master, and this one is a combat model! another Humaritt takes a hostage and steals a hot new plane — cue dogfight against a refurbished old bomber. Najica also gets a solo mission to protect a teenage math prodigy from being re-captured — but what aren't they telling her?

Yet again, I almost stopped watching. The combat model Humaritt takes no time to suddenly become almost naked (due to being shot so much her clothes disintegrate!). She spent the whole episode raging like a berserker with boobs hanging out and scraps of cloth covering her naughty bits. It would be laughable if they weren't so serious about it. The solo mission episode follows, and is practically dull in comparison. Finally, we find the happy middle which provides fun fan-service without making you want to roll your eyes. Ok, so the massive amounts of panty/crotch shots for no reason at all will still make you roll your eyes, but that's part of the fun of Najica. I gave it a 6 because the first half of this volume is pretty awful. The latter half though really hit one of my fav things — war planes. Najica and Lila are undercover, all dolled up (in mini skirts of course — like always) to model at a plane show — and they support the old (restored) bomber rather than anything new and high tech. I loved it! Plus, in its restored state it was able to handle a dogfight with a super-advanced plane, and outsmart the radar.

Seriously don't bother with the dub. The quality is poor. The acting on the sub isn't stellar either but it works well enough to watch. What will really get you though is the awful, horrendous '70s-'80s saxophone romantic spy music. Avoid the opening and closing at all costs! It's bad enough during the episodes — don't hurt yourself. Overall, the art's not bad — a little dated, but not bad. No one looks like a porn star, which is a plus. Plus, they're really good at drawing a girl's lower half in a mini skirt and panties from any angle (and I do mean any). So if you like spy-mission stuff and cheesecake, this anime's a lot of fun — for the most part.
