Yoichi Karasuma is a seventeen-year-old samurai-in-training. He leaves his remote mountain home to continue his training at a dojo run by women. He is exceptionally naive and gets into a great deal of problems in the city and even worse problems in the dojo, as several of the sisters have eyes on him.

The back of the manga claims that this title is in the great tradition of classic fanservice manga. Although I am not sure what "classic" fanservice involves, Samurai Harem does not feel like a quality addition to it. It does have plenty of boob and panty shots; scenes of unintentional and intentional naughtiness; humor and stacked women; but it all seems very uninspired. A very naive and honorable boy, surrounded by big-breasted women.

I did like Ayume, the small-breasted sister and Chihuya, the manga artist sister. They both seemed to have some spark to their characters, although both are the ones most attracted to Yoichi. Some humor is provided in Yoichi's fights with a male rival, who he beats many times.

For fanservice fans, there is typical fanservice here, but it feels mostly unsatisfying.
