Harima is former delinquent who is starting a career as a manga artist. He is in love with Tenma, but is unable to express his feelings towards her. Tenma is in love with Karasama, who is oblivious to Tenma's affections. Harima's and Tenma's efforts to capture their respective crushes' attention take up the majority of the 26 episodes of the second season.

Usually i'm not a big fan of these kinds of anime, where efforts in love are misunderstood and mistaken assumptions abound. However I was surprised by how much this anime entertained me. I'm not sure why it does, Maybe it is the fast pace of the events that kept me interested, or perhaps the depths of absurdity this anime plumbs, like the literal giant that is Harima's manga boss. Or maybe is the fun characters that fill this anime, even though they dont' seem to change much over the course of the series.

There is a bit of fan service, but for girls as well as boys. Lots of dramatic moments as well as funny and the absurd moments. And not every went like I expected. There is a lot going on here, even though it is pretty much just all about unrequited love.

A suprisingly enjoyable series, not too shallow, but not too deep either.
