Back for more? Like you could stay away... In this volume Soichi has to impress Jack's daughter Kenny as Krauser II to prove their worth and his claim to be the Lord of all Death Metal and the Lord of Hell. Then, DMC has to play at Satanic Emperor. There's not that much playing but in the band vs. band competition there is unique forms of fisticuffs — complete with a pig race and C-spot touching (and if you don't know what I mean by "pig" you probably shouldn't be reading this manga).

It just keeps getting better and more absurd. In his desperation to impress Kenny as Krauser II (and to keep his cover that he is Krauser II and not some mild-mannered, mousey, kid), Soichi pretends to manipulate a Sumo match, talks about contracts for souls, and them Sumo wrestles Kenny! The best part is she buys it all hook, line, and sinker! It's an odd sub-culture indeed to believe you can find a Dark Lord in the flesh, living amongst us, and singing Death Metal ... but the masses enjoy it (in so many, many ways). It's hilarious seeing Soichi panic, especially when he's asked to sign the contract for Satanic Emperor in blood! But my favorite part has to be the creativity he shows to avoid having sex with the half-dozen, naked, horny, masochistic girls in his dressing room ... but mainly their reaction to seeing his "Death Penis" in the shower. They went to extreme lengths to destroy or remove everything he could possible screw aside from them — except for the very air itself! You have to read this part yourself in order to fully appreciate the humor, and also to see the perverse twist on the rock star lifestyle. I was beside myself in amazement, laughter, and sheer joy at the raunchy, no-holds-barred nature of this manga. And all this is before you get to the puppy incident, Soichi's penis-headed brother, and the outrageousness of Satanic Emperor. I would pay good money to see a show like that! It's the same reason I go see GWAR — there's a sexual, bloody, dirty stage show, mixed with perverse and dark lyrics that corrupt the viewer/listener heart and soul.

To those dark, twisted readers out there I implore you to drop everything you're doing and find a copy of this book now. To everyone else, you will either become a reading disciple or will have to scour your soul to save it from the depths of Hell for merely looking upon the cover of this book. The art is truly amazing and versatile; it ties the visual of GWAR with the in-humor of Metalocalypse but shreds its own spot in the Netherworld. Need help deciding? I have two little words that make all the difference at the end of this volume: Pig Race. Dear god, it's the best thing I've seen in a long time, and boy does Krauser II's fat, old pig impress! And on a side note, I want to see if Pipanic's lead singer (reduced to a moaning, quivering, woman) will contact Camus if that was his number he tucked in her hand. I must find out! Until volume 4 comes out, enjoy rereading this throbbing volume of near-ecstasy and Death Metal!
