I interviewed Jamie Chase several months ago and he mentioned working on his Myx series. I received the first three issues of Myx so I could review them and do another interview with Jamie with Myx as the focus.

This third issue features three stories, all with a sci-fi theme.

"Return" - I read this first in spring. I liked it as much now as I did then. Packed with a lot of images that tell a great deal of story. I would love to see this adapted into a movie or short story.

"Aftermyth" - and then there are stories that seem to go on a little bit too long. A post-apocalyptic story featuring mostly female characters. I liked the characterizations of the women. They are all survivors, but not necessarily likeable people. It felt like each part of the story was just a bit too long, although I'm not sure what parts felt unnecessary.

"Planet Memory" - a very powerful story of the solitude, memory and madness of a man stranded on an alien planet. When I saw the final panel, I thought of the sonnet Ozymandias, which pleased me, whether or not that was intentional.

This particular issue struck me as the strongest overall, as far as theme and individual stories, while I personally enjoyed the second issue more.
