It took me a couple readings in order to summarize this particular issue in the previous paragraph. You would think it wouldn't be difficult, but this was one of the most difficult volumes of One Piece to decipher, both in the script and in the art. That Luffy has an older brother was clear enough, although there appears to be confusing statements about whether or not Ace is Luffy's biological brother. There are a ton of character in there, but at least they appear to separate them into different groups. Some of the individual characters were interesting for for a panel or two, but for the most part this was a confusing, eyeball-bending issue to read through.
Overall, what was happening in the action sequences was almost impossible for me to understand, and the statements made by so many of the characters made what was happening were even less understandable than usual. Something about frozen seas, icebergs and ingestion of fruit. What appears to be happening seems to be quite exciting. If I could only grasp even a fraction of it better, then this would be a more enjoyable volume for me.
