Naruto continues his training under Killer Bee while the rest of the world gears up for the first battle with Kabuto and his Zetsu army. Kabuto also has a mini-force of reanimated ninja, which he uses for his first strike.

It is good to finally see the first moments of action in the arc of the Great Shinobi War. While most of the book seems to be assembling men and equipment, we get to see who gets to be commander and how they operate as leaders. We see Naruto continue to master more ninja techniques and discover a unique ninja method all his own.

The only annoying thing about this volume is that Naruto is still in the dark about the Great War starting. As far as he knows, he is still on his mission, and he wants to return home. It seems almost a farce that the others are still trying to keep Naruto clueless, even if it is to protect him from Kabuto.

Other than that, this is another solid volume in long-running and excellent manga series.
