In the footsteps of John Lustig's Last Kiss (or vice versa), Martinet redubs nearly ancient DC romance comics for modern day readers. I enjoyed snickering out loud at work at the big hair and silly premises. Martinet includes the original splash pages, as well as a synopsis of the original story. It's also interesting to try to figure out what's happening in the original story, using the artwork. But there's some stories where it's impossible to figure it out what the original artists were thinking ("Loving Gay Men", "The Narcissist Heart"). Even if you don't, however, it's still great fun!
