Credits Grade: 7 This DVD has two bonus episodes focusing on a Refreshing Festival and some extras. I find it silly and a bit annoying that this was separated out from the Season 2 package. There's not enough here to warrant spending full price on it, and I wouldn't recommend getting it unless you've seen at least one season of Baka and Test. However, the two episodes are really great! If you're a fan of the series, I highly recommend getting the OVA to round out your viewing experience. The Refreshing Festival is just as silly as everything else with this series, and includes a ton of cross-dressing humor and fanservice. I also love the angel / devil struggle Kubo has when he sees Akihisa dressed as a girl (not realizing it's Akihisa, the guy he likes) and falls for "her." I also like that the "devil" is the "girl," which further challenges society's norms.The point of these episodes, along with providing typical Festival fare, is to battle to better the amenities in Class F, thus allowing Mizuki to stay. The battles are strategy-heavy, and the strategies are full of humor and silly twists. The first extra provides three alternative outcomes to the cafe voting, and the second provides a slightly different ending (the animation, not the ending itself). There are also things like promotional videos and clean openings / closings. I fully enjoyed the OVA, but I wish it had been included at the end of Season 2. Written: March 31, 2013
