He and his sister, Celine, use it to play pranks, though sometimes he plays them on her.
This graphic novel has been translated from the its original French, and presented in a kid-friendly hard back format with quality paper that will stand up to handling by little hands. At the end of the story is one of those visual puzzles where you look at two pictures and find the differences. I love when kids' books include extras like that. The inside covers also look like the shelves from Leopold's and Celine's rooms, with lots of toys and things that can be recognized from other series like Pokemon, The Smurfs, Legos, Barbie, etc.
The comic itself is fun and funny. Kids will enjoy the antics of Leopold and Celine. I love how it pretty accurately captures how children of this age would react to and use something like invisibility. The pranks are pretty harmless, and involve "tooting" at one point. The art is wonderful, with bright colors and simple designs that have a lot of energy and are relatable, realistic images. Facial expressions are hilarious and easily show the correct emotion without being exaggerated in a cartoony way. I highly recommend this book for kids (or kids at heart), and I look forward to book 2. I fully enjoyed it!
