Satsuke sees a regenerated Itachi and pursues him, wanting him to answer his questions. Itachi doesn't have the time, and they both catch up to Kabuto. Itachi, Satsuke and Kabuto engage in a three-way mental as well as physical battle. Meanwhile Tsunade and the other Kage battle Madera, with Madera dismissing Tsunade's abilities.

The most interesting thing about this manga to me is the backstory of Kabuto; I liked how we see how he was found as an orphaned boy with no name, and saw the experiences he had that made him what he is.

I wasn't as interested in Itachi or Satsuke; they just seem to be repeating the same argument they've always had, and I didn't feel I learned much more. It was the same with the Five Kage and Madera: it felt like all they were doing was boasting at each other. There was some good action pages, but the most compelling character in this volume is also the one I dislike the most.
