Neil Gaiman gave a speech at the Philadelphia University of the Arts. This book is an artistic rendering of what Neil spoke about to the graduating class about making good art. The book is on the small side and hardbound. Chip Kid renders the text in as many different ways as possible, without getting too fancy on the fonts.

Of course, the book is dependent on the words of Gaiman, which are funny, thoughtful, practical, silly, and wonderful. The text complements Gaiman's words nicely, even if sometimes it is a little hard to follow the way Chip Kidd has arranged the words.

Like Gaiman's advice to "Make Good Art," this book is a good example of how to make good art, even with something as basic as words.
