ISBN: 9781421559667 Grade: 7 Dengeki Daisy Volume 13 continues the search for M's Last Testament. Akira arrives in the scene again, and there is always a nervous moment when he and Teru brush paths. Teru and Kurosaki seem to be having humorous moments while they try and bond and new members of the team test the bonds on who is a bad guy and who is a good one.
I still completely like this series even though it is starting to seem to run a big long. There is still a lot of character development that is going on and a lot of space for character relationships to grow, so it never seems stale. The genius Akira is always scary and you are always left wondering what he is really up to. Teru and Kurosaki's relationship is always up to speculation especially since their age difference is pretty large and Kruosaki is torn on how he should act versus what he may really want. Teru's brother even makes an appearance in this one, so be prepared for a bit of a new twist.
The art is awesome and the panels are easy to follow. Kyousuke Motomi's interjections about characters in between chapters are always entertaining and its great having such a friendly story author to guide you through episodes, especially one with a sense of humor.
If you are an occasional reader of this series this is one that you'll want to read, and if you are an avid follower, go pick it up, you won't be disappointed!
