Archer's grandmother needs to move, and his boyfriend Todd drags Archer back to the UK to help, with Archer grumbling the entire time. His grandmother's insistence on the existence of ghosts in the house, and her penchant for embarrassing Archer by way of the telling of tales, do nothing to help his disposition!

The art is fine, likable enough and charming in a rough way, if not exactly great. The lettering is done by hand -- it too is rough, but legible. This isn't a horror story, but rather more of a slice-of-life piece about family. There's not much in the way of introduction nor closure, but we get a good sense if the characters throughout. While Todd shows affection towards Archer amidst admittedly frequent teasing, Archer is almost entirely cranky and even hostile, making me really wonder why either man stays with the other. Still, it's an engaging enough read, and they do have a great philosophical conversation or two. I am very appreciative of Archer's line about religion and morality, but Todd makes a good counter-argument. I'm just attached enough to the characters that I would read another issue -- but probably not at $5.99 for 38 pages ....
