Boris Drude just wants to spend his free time loaded on weed. It makes it easier to deal with the ghost in his closet and the fact that his girlfriend won't kiss him. Everything changes when he notices reptilian aliens hiding as humans ... and they notice him!

The cover really caught my eye. The design of the reptilian aliens is really cool. The internal artwork isn't as detailed, so they really lose some of their appeal, but I do like the transitions between showing us their human guise and their reptilian form. I like the use of prominent figures, but that makes their involvement with Boris and his girlfriend very hard to believe. The black and white art isn't bad, but it's not enough to keep me interested or help me follow the story.

The opening, wherein Boris comes to on a morgue table right as his autopsy begins, is pretty attention-grabbing. However, due to all the jumping around the story does, I'm not really sure how he ended up there in the first place. In fact, I'm confused on a few points regarding how and why certain things happen. The setting jumps around too, which doesn't make it any easier to follow. The ghost in Boris' closet definitely adds to the weirdness and the humor, though I wish we were given a reason why there's a ghost there. The girlfriend aspect of the story isn't very engaging despite being used to get Boris involved with the aliens in the first place (and -- mild spoiler alert -- if she doesn't swing that way, why is she with him?). There's an interesting twist at the end ... but I don't know how or why that came about either.

Using music lyrics to add to scenes works well in some cases, but is really overdone throughout. I found myself glossing over them, as they really weren't pertinent to the plot.

In short, I don't get a good feel for any of the characters, the plot is very hard to follow, and the art on the inside left me disappointed.
